Good Afternoon Ms Rentler, Im writing because it would be in the best interest of – Barbara Rentler email address

Elene sent a message to Barbara Rentler – Chief Executive Officer of Ross Stores – Email Address that said:

Good Afternoon Ms Rentler,
I'm writing because it would be in the best interest of your company to investigate your Tuscany Store located in Corona, CA. Your staff has the tendency to fabricate and pretend they are unaware of the chain of command, including your District Manager Miguel Villalobos. In fact he told me he didn't have a boss to report to. I responded by telling him we all have a boss and asked him to give me his name and contact information. Mr. Villalobos refused to give me the name of his boss. I believe in transparency, and accountability clearly your workers don't embrace the same work ethic. I am writing you because your company failed to pay my daughter her last wages in the form of a hard copy check. Furthermore she was intimated into working a week longer after she put in her two weeks notice. Your manager Angelina Garcia told her that they had no one to work the cash office. To compound the problem she still hasn't gotten paid, and because of the lack of knowledge on the part of both your district and store manager my daughter was given an Aline card and two checks along with incorrect instruction on how to proceed with the transaction. In short the check was flagged as Alter/Fict by my bank, and since the accounts are linked it has cost me the amount of her last paycheck of 207.67 that was supposed to have been paid to her by your company along with bank fees, for the check bouncing. She repeatedly called and asked Angelina Garcia about getting paid by check before this fiasco. She never asked for this Aline card or checks. All she wanted was to get her last check and go on about her life. Instead this has turned into something extremely ugly and its about to get worse. Melissa and I have made attempts to rectify the situation. Furthermore Melissa has a documented disability which management was aware of and exploited. Please contact me in a reasonable amount of time otherwise I'll be forced to seek another avenue to resolve these issues. In addition to all this your manager Miguel Villalobos called at 12:45pm today 4/20/2016, and lied stating that her funds where on an Aline Debt Visa which she had never registered. But according to the ADP check she was given she didn't need to register the card, she only needed to call the mandatory authentication number received the code endorse the check and get her money. Now the district manager is singing a different song. I call this incompetence after the fact. As a district manager he should have handled this situation differently. Clearly Angelina Garcia had no idea what she was doing when she handed out two blank checks along with the Aline Visa Card. One employee was given cash on his last day. Melissa insisted that she be paid with a hard copy check if that had happened I wouldn’t be writing this email. I attribute this debacle to incompetence, laziness or the lack of knowledge on the part of all parties involved. That check has affected my account, my reputation and my money. I will be seeking damages for the incompetence on the part of your staff. Please look into this matter. Thank you for your cooperation as the CEO of this company.

Sincerely,
Elene
