James sent a message to James McCann CEO, 1-800-FLOWERS that said:
Good afternoon. My name is Jim. Today we received a delivery of flowers for my daughter's birthday. Within 10 minutes, I was on the phone with your customer service because the flowers look dead. What I am upset with, is that your customer service folks clearly did not care. After I explained the issue, I was asked if I wanted him to check on the status of delivery. I had already explained the order had been delivered and the plant was dead. He transferred me to a "supervisor" who could not have been more bored or care less. AT one point, he was speaking to others and had to ask me what I had said. I could not believe that this is the way you would want your customer services folks to handle an order. I just thought you should know.
