Good Day, I hope you can point me in the right direction. This past – Christopher J Nassetta email address

Karen sent a message to Christopher J. Nassetta – President and Chief Executive Officer of Hilton Worldwide – Email Address that said:

Good Day,

I hope you can point me in the right direction.  This past June 1st, 2016 I parked in the Hilton Center City parking deck in uptown Charlotte, NC to go to a job interview  for contract work.  After the interview I fell from an unseen step down in the same Hilton Center City parking deck.  The stepdown was between two completely yellowed lined end spaces marked by the yellow lines for no parking.  The two adjoining yellow line spaces cane together at a 90 degree angle where the two lanes came together at a turn.  The step down is not visual so this really should be addressed through out the parking deck for safety to all.  For me it is too late since the fall broke a bone in my right foot and dislocated a couple of other bones in the same foot which were pushed and pulled into place.  I have not been able to put weight on this foot for over two weeks now.  I was at the doctor on the 13th and have 4 more weeks at least of dealing with this break still in the non-weight baring mode.  Contract work ongoing through the company I interviewed with is likely after about a total of 7 to 8 weeks.  I would have had a 4 wk position replacing a National Guard Member about five days after my tramatic I jury but it fell through due to the break.  I am trying to find out if Hilton parking is owned and operated by Hilton hotels because I feel I should be reimbursed for medical expenses insurance does not cover plus lost wages. The four week contract and a full time position with Robert Half Temps filling in for their clients as needed.  My daughter is planning her wedding and I am very delayed at looking at wedding gowns and venues with her.  Camie's a NIC-U nurse so she has limited time already to look at gowns and venues.  Sorry, non related issue but I am excited about the wedding and having the honor of giving her away. My injury due to negligence on the part of visibility of the step down has probably set my daughter's wedding well behind. I cannot afford a do it all wedding planner. With being laid up so much I have a $22k payment due the being of the week of June 20th, 2016 that I possibly could have paid but do not feel I should lose money on penalties from retirement money. I firmly believe that unpaid medical bills, lost income, and duress from the fact that the longer I wait for contract work the older I get and the less likely I am to get the job. My daughter takes a minimum of 30 minutes to order an entree. Camie is a registered nurse certified in Neonatal Intensive Care so her stress will intensify while planning a very short term wedding because of my tramatic injury. Duress should be paid so I can pay for a do it all wedding planner.

To show I am a real person I am the auburn (with white) haired Karen Nivens of Charlotte,  NC on linkedin, facebook, and authorsden.  I do have publications.  BENJAMIN P BLIZZARD: WELCOME TO CHRISTMASTOWN and a poem OUR CHILDREN.  I am a native of Charlotte,  NC.  My work and social media is under Karen Nivens, Karen L Nivens and Karen Lynne Nivens.

The parking deck at Hilton Center City is dangerous and has cost be a lot so far with much more time to go. I should be paid with a down payment early next week. My daughters wedding should be helped to keep it on schedule and at 125 guest give or take a few. I also feel you could hire me since I have a great deal of hospitality experience that do one may want at my age was I can walk.

regards,

Karen
