In January of 2016 I became a Siriusxm customer again for the second time. The first time I canceled my subscription because of poor customer service and satellite reception. The second time I had the unit installed in my truck and a docking station installed in my Boat. I took out a 1 year subscription to the radio. Everything was great. Satellite single strength is great with no fall off in the gulf like last time. The problem is customer service. The docking station on my boat stopped sending a signal to the boat radio. I called customer care and after an hour I was told it was my docking station. They transfer me to warranty services. After about 10 minutes explaining that I don't need a new radio. They agreed to send me a new docking station and a claim. After 7 business days I called back. after about 20 minutes. I was told that it was in route, but could not supply me with a tracking number. Today I talked with customer service. A nice guy named Robert. He saw the claim but could not get me any information, and said he would transfer me to warranty claims. They asked for my claim number and after about 15 minutes I was told nothing has been sent out. I was told that a new claim would have to be made, and I would receive a new radio in 5 business days. My new claim, I don't need a new radio just a docking station. Mary said I had to take the radio or nothing. I asked her if she had a ext. # she gave me this 51988 said it was her ID and her name was Mary. I sorry sir but something is wrong with customer service. I am sure your call center gets a lot of calls, and I am one in a thousand maybe a million because your company is so big. But how hard can it be to send out 1 $30.00 docking station? I like the programming on Sirius. I like the ability to receive that programming on my fishing charters. My clients also love it. I will buy a new docking station at Best Buy I one does not come by next Friday. I will stop recommending your service to the other charter boat captains that I work with here in Florida. In a year when my subscription ends I will not renew. What a shame this satellite radio is a great idear, just poor customer service.
