It is with great regret that I would like to inform you that I am very disappointed with your Yamaha RS-700 receiver - specifically low quality assembly, plastic volume controls and poor control features. I need to replace my receiver and when I examined your current products I was geartly surprised by the lowering of your standard which I have come to expect. I value your products being an owner of NS1000 speakers, an A1 piano to name a few. This said I am forced to look at your vintage models - like the ones found in your 1978 catalogue, the brochure was so wonderfull. I am considering buying for 600$ CDN a CR 1020 in mint condition and beleive me the choice was very easy. Please consider to reissue your classic series as I am certain it will be a success.
