Robin sent a message to Carlos Ghosn President and CEO, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. – email address that said:
Good day to you Mr. Carlos Ghosn,
This may not make a big difference to Nissan but I have been receiving letters and other forms of communication from the Nissan corporation in reference to a Subaru Tribeca I owned. I bought the Tribeca, used, at the Nissan dealership in Boone, N.C.. Turns out they would like to buy it back. I have called the Boone, N.C., Nissan three times and a main office in another city to let them know that I sold the Subaru in question in April of this year. Just got another request yesterday. Each time I was informed my name would be taken off the list, things would be settled and I would no longer receive letters, calls or e-mails stating that Nissan wants to buy the Subaru Tribeca from me. This is not just a real waste of time but it is also a waste of paper, unless your company uses recycled paper (both of these things mean a waste of money). As of today I have sent an e-mail to Dennis Hartley at your Nissan Dealership in Boone, N.C., and (first time) to Dan Bedore, Director of Nissan Division U.S. Communications and also a first time to you, the C.E.O./ Top Dog. I have informed the right people. I cannot understand why my attempts to stop the incoming requests to buy back the Tribeca fall on deaf ears. Are they just not paying attention? How many other people are not being heard? Hopefully this e-mail will not be a waste of time, mine or yours. I was always taught, "waste not, want not." Thank you for your time.
Sincerely, Robin
