Good Evening David: It is with a great disappointment that I send this email. I thought – David Cordani email address

Evelyn sent a message to David Cordani - President and CEO of Cigna Corporation - Email Address that said:

Good Evening David:

It is with a great disappointment that I send this email. I thought I did the right thing by getting everything planned ahead of time for my foot surgery, including speaking with your organization. I was given by representatives of your company the expectation that I would have a knee scooter as a mobility device no later than the day of my surgery, Tuesday, January 12. Unfortunately, this has not been met. As a matter of fact, this expectation has been grossly failed.

After many discussions with multiple people within your organization, I have learned that if your company has failed to load the benefits packet for its customers in your database, you hold all approvals. As you can imagine, this has left me in quite a situation. I have now fallen 3 times, one of which was on my foot that just had surgery. I will now have to see a specialist to figure out how to stop the shoulder pain (I cant even hold a glass of water now) and cost your company more money due to the possible reinjury to the just repaired foot as well for what ever the doctor decides need to be done for my shoulder. Just for frame of reference, I have looked into costs for a knee scooter as I originally planned to buy it myself before your company advised me it would be handled and delivered on or before the day of my surgery. The cost of said knee scooter is less than $200.

Now the work week has come to an end and I am told there is no one to help or resolve the issue until possibly Monday. Is this how the company makes its profit margins it boasts? Make the customers/patients wait until they give up or get further injured?

I welcome a call from you. I plan to share this story and its outcome with all that I know and across social media in hopes to help someone I the future avoid such a disgrace.

Sincerely,
Evelyn
