Have owned several bikes from sportys to softails…
Been a bit out of the game for last 10 years raising kids work etc., well Im 53 and have the need for HD in my life again!
Went to Garden State Harley in NJ this past Saturday and met with the owner whom I was recommenced to by a loyal friend of mine.
Bob De Fazio, what a great guy and great staff, pleasure to do business with!
He was more than fair and took plenty of time to work with me, class act in every way!
Now the bad news… lol
Im 53 years old, work with my company over 30 years, make 160k a year and live in same house for 25 years!
My FICO was pulled at 637-640, not perfect I realize, had some credit issues in the past, but worked hard to get it improved, and I still am.
Now, Im looking at Street Glide, Im quoted at rate of 19%, I almost fell off the chair, with all due respect that is on the edge of shylock interest.
In all honestly, I understand completely the risks, I understand that 2007 many banks took huge hits, but I would think that there are more extenuating circumstances that should come into play when applying for a loan
Im not just a FICO score, Im a hard working dad who is honest and loyal to a brand and shouldnt be penalized for past issues that occurred in my life.
The above is what Harley Davidson was all about, loyalty and all AMERICAN
I truly ask if Eagle Mark can adjust my rate to an affordable percentage so I can get back in the wind again!
