Good morning,
I am once again reaching out to you for your help regarding my listing located on 122 Raby Road in Suffolk VA. First, I would like to say thank you for the expedited attention that was given to m previous request. However, I now have another issue in which your employee, Wendy Chapin, does not seem to want to assist or give a LOGICAL explanation as to why I cannot get an extension to the November 11th closing date deadline on the 2nd mortgage with your institution. Instead she states that we have to start over and provide additional documents and that it was a "COURTESEY" for allowing us to close on November 11th. A courtesy? - for a delay that your instituted? When I was given the clear to close on this file, the buyers lender thought they had enough time to complete what was needed to get to the closing table at that time, but unfortunately, due to the FIVE MONTH delay on behalf of your institution could not. With that being said, I requested an extension to at least match the approval date of the third mortgage - in which your institution holds - to allow time for closing. Ms. Chapin was very blunt and non-chalant about not even considering my request. Please note that it is because of Suntrust that this file is not closed. Please explain to me how you are going to take FIVE MONTHS to approve a file and yet give me 5 days to close - in which one of those days was a federal holiday and not consider my request to MATCH the closing date of another loan that you hold. Ms. Chapin response to me when I requested to extend the approval to match the other file due to the buyer's lender not having enough time to complete their file was: She has nothing to do with that file.
At this time I would like request a new negotiator who is competent enough to honor my request. Had Suntrust reviewed the 2nd mortgage in a timely manner previously - and five months is not considered timely - I would not be having this conversation. But instead, after patiently waiting for your decision, I am giving 5 business days and no additional consideration for an extension. The buyer's lender has assured me that they are now ready to close - and, upon honoring my request, we will move quickly to the closing table.
Due to the extensive amount of time that it has taken Suntrust to give me an approval, I am also requesting a positive disposition no later than 10am EST as this is no delay on our behalf. It is very disappointing that I have to revisit this issue and will move forward to CFPB if my request is not honored and I do not have the final clear to proceed to closing by the deadline time. Suntrust is not only doing their client, the seller, a disservice but also all parties involved in this matter.
In advance, I thank you for your direct attention with this matter. I can reached
