Good Morning I hope you are having a nice day. I reside in Raleigh, N.C. and am the P.O.A for my father-in-law, David. His wife, Sandy, passed away 4-6-14. Since her death we have been trying to add me as P.O.A. to his account. Dave and I have made 2 separate trips to the original branch in Cary with a death certificate. Her name is still on the account when I went to the branch last week and they thought I was her. We have submitted copies of the registered Durable P.O.A. form. We have completed other paper work they required. We were assured all was in place for me to act as P.O.A. Now that Dave is unable to easily get out and we need to utilize the P.O.A. we discover there is no record whatsoever of all the visits, forms, deed etc that we submitted. I have phoned your N Hills Branch and was instructed to phone back in 30 minutes and surprise voice mail and no call back. This account is in a Living trust and it would be easiest to resolve this vs. going to Wells Fargo and starting all over. However if after almost 3 years of failed attempts I cannot resolve this soon I will be forced to do just that. We would greatly appreciate any and all assistance you can provide to help us to resolve this A.S.A.P. Have a wonderful day.
