good morning Mr. Howard Levine my name is Keyona ,I work at one of your family dollars in Kansas City MO, I've worked for your company for almost 2years now. I'm still making the same pay as I was when I started I'm a single mother with two small children no car, still living at home with my parents not able to make ends meet do to my pay. I was giving the option and promotion to become a assistant manager but I refuse to take it do to the pay that was given to me which was $1.25 more than what I am making now which is $8.00 I felt by now I've earned and deserve more than that pay I'm one of the strongest employee at the location I've been through it all and seen it all from employees coming and going to being on our 5th or 6th manager now and I feel I have shown my true and loyalty to this company at one point all the employees quit and it was just me another employee and a manager I've worked countless hours so we could continue to satisfy customers because they loved me and our location they refuse to go to any other location. but now I'm at a point where I feel that my hard work and dedication to this company will never pay off .the only option I have at this point is to find a better opportunity else where even though I don't want to because I love my job and the customers that know and love me. right now I'm a cashier I would love to become an assistant one day or even something better I've work almost all the truck days, prepared the store for 2 inventories, I'm actually the stores main cashier, recover like no other. you name it I've done it. I really deserve a lot more I want more for me and my children but I don't know what to do at this point I have a great manager but she don't know what to do she want to keep me and give me more money but have no power to do so. with the right training I'm willing to hold any position.
