Good morning Mr. Pittman, I understand this isnt proper protocol but I have to —like the young people say “shoot my shot”! My son DJ Taye (can be googled and YouTube videos) is making great music and very well known overseas but not in his own city of Chicago. Not because of bad promotions or publicity but current irrelevance catchy trends and nonsense music. His genre of music is a Chicago brand and not embraced mainstream in Chicago which is discouraging for his generation who choose to put their skills to work positively and avoid the mean streets of Chicago. I wonder if I will ever hear his music on the radio like WGCI or see him go mainstream. He is 23 and been working on his craft since the age of 12. He has done numerous interviews for magazines. Mixmag, fakeshore drive and the New York Times to say the least. DJ Taye has his debut album coming out He is with a London based record label hyperdub but I want my son US mainstream getting his fair share of recognition and a true shot at fame. Please I hope This finds you properly and your influences can help him. Thank you sir.
