Lawanda sent a message to Jane Fraser CEO, CitiMortgage – email address that said:
Good Morning Mrs.Fraser,
I'm writing to you as CEO of Citigroup to ask you to consider my request.
I've held a $36,000 second mortgage with CitiMortgage since June 2006 @ 9.99% interest, paying 297.06 monthly. It's now 2017 and the current balance due is approximately $30,000. This is disheartening as I've kept a long standing credit score of 760 and have tried several times to refinance for a lower interest rate with CitiMortgage but to no avail, only the run around. NO ONE at CitiMortgage would/could help.
Mrs. Fraser, I want to believe this is an oversight, I can't fathom the thought that a corporation of your size and standing in many communities would allow this type consumer financial gouging. To date I've paid approximately $35,000 with a current balance of $30,000. Is this fair, what do you personally feel as a human being.
So, in summary Mrs. Fraser, I'm hoping you will take a look at my account and assist me with a loan forgiveness, a brand new loan or at least a lower interest rate.
I appreciate you taking time from your busy day to read my plea and I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you and continued blessing
Sincerely
Lawanda
