Good morning Ms. Stewart,
I frequent Applebee's nearly every two weeks. The portion are great, the food is always excellent. My selection from your menu is always the 9 ounce sirloin steak. The waiters and waitress are always personable.

The Applebee's I visit is located at 7831 Target Circle in Raleigh, NC 27616. Without fail each and every time I dine at this establishment I specifically as the staff to please stagger my appetizer, salad and steak. Each time within a matter of 3 or 4 minutes all the items arrive at once so that when I am ready to eat my steak...yes you guessed it cold again and the french fries are dried out.

Last evening I went to eat there for dinner and encountered the same exact situation. Again I ask our waitress to stagger the meal. The boneless wings arrived and the waitress Kaitlynn came to check to see if we were ready for our salad, which we were. That salad came and before I had time to pick up my fork the steak arrived. Needless to say I was not pleased. I finished my salad and then "I" returned the steak to the manager and expressed my frustration. He agreed to cook another steak. The manager, Joseph Mentz, stated he would cook another steak and bring the steak out personally...NOT! Our waitress brought out the steak. About half way through the entree he came by and asked if I had gotten my meal. Dah...what am I eatting. Mr. Mentz made no apology, but blamed the waitress as it was her first day on her own. I told him this happens each and everytime I go to Applebee's. The waitress stated when she presented us the check that she had indeed asked the kitchen to stagger our order.

Mr. Mentz could have cared less about my complaint. Generally when orders go awry some type of concession is made by management, certainly not by Mr. Mentz.

To top off things off the bill was for three meals. I brought the bill to Mr. Mentz and his statement was "Oh I thought I'd try to sneak the third meal cost in." and he chuckled. I did not find this amusing. It was my partner and I eating...not three people. I am considering not returning and instead going to OUTBACK or LONG HORN. He is a very poor excuse for a manager.
