ANGELA sent a message to William H. Rogers, Jr. – Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of SunTrust Banks – Email Address that said:
Good morning. My name is Angela. I have been with Suntrust for some years. I have been charged 2 overdraft fees when like clockwork I have a direct deposit from my workplace. I spoke with a young lady who graciously removed 1 of the $36 charges, but HER supervisor, Alicia, was not willing to remove the 2nd one.
So I politely asked to speak with Alicia's supervisor, and was informed that even though she would transfer me to HER supervisor, HER supervisor would STILL not remove the extra $36 overdraft fee. So my only option was to try to get in touch with the "man in charge" for Suntrust.
Suntrust has been good to me in the past, and I am not trying to abuse the system. But I watched my account carefully, making sure that my acct had enough funds so that my rent check wouldn't bounce.
I am a lady who has an elderly mother living with me. I have some major bills that will need to be paid next week. Having a negative $36 amount in my account may not seem a lot for some people, but it will impact my direct deposit EXTENSIVELY, and cause very important bills to either fall behind, or not be paid at all.
Please help me.
I did not want to put my account number in this email,
Sincerely,
Angela
