I have been a member of Citizens Bank and all of its prior names re mergers for over 40+ years. My account types have changed over the years; I currently have a savings account at the Town of Newburgh, NY branch.
My question re a bank policy is as follows:
I wanted to electronically transfer some money from my Citizens account to a non-Citizens bank and was advised that in doing so, I would be charged a $3 service fee. I find that this practice is archaic and quite frankly, outrageous to the extreme. I personally know from many years of dealing with several of my non-Citizens banking institutions that no other banking corporation charges a fee for this type of electronic service.
I think that this is something you should look into and remove said charge.
If you are not the person who is in charge of banking policies, I would hope that you forward my Email to that person or persons for consideration.
