Good morning sir,
I need your assistance in a very important matter and I keep hitting a stone wall. I paid my mortgage online and was informed after the fact that a paper check would be sent because my mortgage company isnt online. The problem I am having is that I "paid online" in time but the company keeps saying they never received the check and they will foreclose on my mortgage. I talked to the bank manager asking for intervention because a sweet lady named Jessica told me she faxed them the information proving I paid on time and that they mailed the check and they still say they never received it. My point of frustration is that when I called the manager Fakhria Mahmoud, all she kept telling me was to call the online banking. I kept telling her it should not be my place to call since i paid on time and now I may lose my house because Ms. Mahmoud obviously does not want to deal with them to straighten this out. I should not be blamed for missing a payment when it was not my fault. I get that Ms Mahmoud said it does not show in my statement the money was taken out of my account. The point is that I should not be blamed for the payment being late and having it effect my credit.
My mortgage company said I should put a stop payment on the previous check and rewrite another one. I can do that but I should not have to pay for the stop payment and the bank should send them a letter stating that yes I did pay it on time. I implore you sir to please intervene so I will not lose my house or have my credit ruined. Thank you.
