Good Morning, I am writing you to let you know of a recent experience at – Clifford Hudson email address

John Hegener sent a message to J. Clifford Hudson Chairman and CEO, Sonic Corp. - email address that said:

Good Morning,

I am writing you to let you know of a recent experience at your Scottsburg Indiana location. My family and I were returning from a vacation and stopped into the Scottsburg location @ 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 5, 2017. We placed our order at the drive thru (which totaled @ $40). We were informed that it would take around five minutes for our order to be ready and were asked to pull forward. We complied. A Sonic employee came out @ 10 minutes later with 2 Sonic bags. My wife handed the Sonic employee $50. We were shocked when the Sonic employee asked us if we needed change. The employee was certainly not asking for a tip for doing their job and bringing us our order? We proceeded to tell the employee that we indeed needed change. The employee proceeded to huff and puff and roll her eyes at us. We looked in the Sonic bags and realized that half of our order was missing. When the Sonic employee returned with our change we notified her that two chicken sandwiches were missing. She looked at us like were were crazy, sighed and walked back into the building. 10 minutes later she returned with the missing items. We were back on the road. We then realized that over 75% of our drinks were ice. Is this normal practice at Sonic? Please advise. Thank you.

Regards,

John J. Hegener, MD
