Greetings,
As a user of Optus ADSL2+ internet services here in Australia I thought I would seek answers from you rather than continue to get the run around from Optus customer service. Why are our internet speeds so dismal as to be almost worthless? I live in Davoren Park, South Australia, the max I am able to see when doing tests of my own are 384kbs up and 8000 kbs down. Conversations with Optus has me fooling around with my router for several hours which I'm sure is a misdirection in the hopes I 'll give up complaining, or the song and dance about the distance to the exchange or better yet, congestion.
Perhaps you can seek some answers that make real sense. Optus has no problems expecting that I pay my bill on time, as such, I should expect to receive what I pay for.
Thanks,
Richard
