I am writing to politely urge IKEA to stop selling comforters and pillows made from duck feathers and down. The harvesting of feathers and down are abusively painful to the birds from whom they are taken. A simple Google search will show you precisely what ducks and geese endure to produce these products for humans. I can assure you that these ducks are in a great deal of pain and distress.
IKEA has a global presence and can be an influential leader in changing ideas of how humans use animals for their personal benefit. I urge you to take a strong position for the betterment and welfare of ducks by not selling down products.
