Greetings Mr. joly, Unsatisfactory experience at your Pembroke Pines – Hubert Joly email address

Ademi sent a message to Hubert Joly President and CEO, Best Buy – email address that said:

Greetings Mr. joly,

Unsatisfactory experience at your Pembroke Pines, FL Store # 559 while purchasing a Canon Camera EOS 6D
Problems:

1. While waiting in the Camera area for assistance, I contacted two different sales person to call for assistance. On the third attempt a camera sales person
walked towards us and I asked why didn't he acknowledged our presence by saying, I will be right with you as soon as I am finished with the customer?

2. Incomplete Major End Item's
(Camera's) with missing components.

Situation:

Camera Salesman, Mr. Villa was knowledgeable with the various camera's however when, I selected a Camera two of the accompanying components listed below were missing i.e Missing Camera Bag Spare Battery. Mr. Adrian stated, I could pick up the spare battery at the Davie Store, FL. I asked if the battery could be transferred to the Pembroke Pines store and he replied "it wouldn't arrive in time".

3. Sales being done without having the available components to complete the purchase on hand which indicates a major inventory discrepancies.

4. Lead Manager  failed to properly resolve component shortages and tried resolving the problem by asking that I pick up the camera case at a Best Buy Store upon my arrival in Texas!
Mr. Feliz suggested, I carry the camera at my own risk without a bag to Texas. That's absurd!

I suggested that a compatible bag be substituted since I was not at fault for a bag no where to be found in FL. However fearless Team Lead, Mr. Anthony Felix refused the suggestion. I then requested the store manager be called to resolve the component shortage problem.

Store Manager Mr. Paul quickly resolved the problem by allowing me to choose a compatible camera bag to complete my purchase. I did however agree to pick up the spare battery from the Davie store, which by the way, has an inventory problem in matching the data inventory to whats physically on the shelf causing problems in sales.

Suggested Solution

1. Conduct for completeness bimonthly high dollar major end item inventories and resolve any discrepancies within 48 to 72 hrs.

2. Unresolved inventory discrepancies should be reported to higher management.

3. Team leads should be capable of resolving store related discrepancies with component shortages, reflects poorly on Best Buy's Store Management.

4. Salesmen and Team leads need to be skilled in problem solving to avoid escalating problem to the store manager.

5. No large Best Buy bags were available throughout the Pembroke Pines store. This posed a security risk in having to walk to my car with an exposed camera box in which, I had spent over $2,000. Security or a Sales person should have accompanied me to my car. I found this shocking! 🙈.

The extent of problems in your Pembroke Pines Store concerning discrepancies in store products is alarming and quite visible to the average person.

I would appreciate if you would look into the problems mentioned above, thank you!

Sincerely
Mrs.
