@harleydavidson – Matthew Levatich – Dear Mr. Levatich, As a Harley Davidson owner of many years, I want to know

Steve Pellitier sent a message to Matthew Levatich that said:

Dear Mr. Levatich,
As a Harley Davidson owner of many years, I want to know what the thinking was when Harley Davidson discontinued the FXD Dyna model line? I mean was that really a smart move? Dyna's were an affordable big twin, that ranged between the Sportster and Softail models in price. Quite honestly, I would never ever buy a Softail, I hate they way the ride, and corner, and can not afford to spend the money for anything in the FLH touring series line. I also know that your 2018 - 2019 Sales are down. This I am sure is a direct correlation in Harley-Davidson dropping the FXD Dyna model. It is a very popular model. I was looking to buy a 2018 Dyna, one Harley Dealer, told me they were all sold out, (A lie on their part) my preferred Harley Dealer Blackwolf Harley Davidson, told me the truth that Harley Davidson dropped my favorite big twin model. It just doesn't make any good business sense to drop out a popular model, and try to force buyers to a more expensive model because of lack of choice. There are a lot of us Dyna owners out here, that love our Dynas, and now we can't get them.
