@harleydavidson – Matthew S Levatich – I wanted to let you know how disappointed I was to learn of your decision

I wanted to let you know how disappointed I was to learn of your decision to manufacture Harley models outside the country. It didn't take you long to abandon the American worker. Your reasoning that the European market would impose tariffs on American made bikes may come to be or not, but moving manufacturing offshore is the same as thumbing your nose at your workers. Your consumers have made Harley the company that it is today and hopefully after this decision they will abandon your company. Like many Harley riders, made in America was a big factor in my riding Harleys. I know if I purchase another bike it will not be a Harley. I'm sure this means nothing to you, but my memory goes back to when Harley was on it's last legs and the American rider saved the company through our buying power. You showed your appreciation but outsourcing most of your Harley gear. After a while I couldn't find even a tee shirt that was made in this country. Even with this I thought Harley bikes would continue to be made in this country. You can now join so many other companies that only fly a flag with a dollar sign on it to show their loyalty.
