Jack sent a message to André Calantzopoulos – Chief Executive Officer of Philip Morris International, Inc. – Email Address that said:
Hello Andre,
I am email you in regard to one of Philip Morris Intern. many products. The Marlboro Light cigarette brand.
I am a smoker of Marlboro Lights for many years. Recently the cigarettes have been , lets say just not the same. Something wrong with them. I have had the same experience with this product overseas in the middle east. We found that the cigarettes we purchased in the middle east were boot legged and not the actual Philip Morris brand.
I believe this is the case on a very wide scale. I make most of my cigarette purchases at a large convenient store chain called Quick Trip. In particular in Plano, Texas. Of course I will not purchase these cigarettes as they do causing head ace's and soar throats, for me.
I took the time to do a small amount of research and found that I am not alone in noticing the issue with the cigarettes. Your own complaint message board (Complaint Website/Page) has 100's of people speaking of this issue.
I am taking the time to email you as the boss is always the last one to find out as the management team looks for solutions.
I do hope that the cigarettes are boot legged and I once again can enjoy a cigarette.
I am smoking Winston's for now..
Regards,
