Hello, For many years I have dreamed of taking my children to Disney. I – Robert Iger email address

Malena  sent a message to Robert Iger - Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company Email Address that said:

Hello,
For many years I have dreamed of taking my children to Disney. I went many times as a child with my grandparents and it was always the highlight to our month long Florida vacation. I have filled my yard and home with as much Disney as I can afford, and many things I have made myself or my daughter has drawn. Every year I hope that this will be the year, every year I spend hours online looking for any deals that I might possibly be able to somehow afford, and every year after days of looking, contacting traveling agents, I always find the same thing, to come would mean a year of struggle, a year of barely getting by, a year of doing without. So year after year I say, maybe next year. I have a large family, we have 7 children under age 18, plus my sister and her family which is a family of 4, for a total of 13 of us. I would give nearly anything to be able to make this 14hr drive, and bring my family to experience all the magic of Disney.
I simply do not understand why a multimillion dollar business, needs to make tickets so outrageous that I can't bring this magical experience to my children.
I can buy a fun card to Busch Gardens Williamsburg for $75 a piece and can take my children multiple times to Busch gardens, but I can't seem to find a way to buy 3 days at Disney parks. Why? Why can't you make this dream for so many a reality? Disney and the dream of Disney is about overcoming the odds that are stacked against you, and living the dream. I have filled my life and my children's lives with the Disney Dream. From the seat covers in my truck, to the shower curtain in my bathroom, to my Disney garden in the summer with status of Mickey, to the mini princess castle I built, to the Jimminey Cricket that hangs from my garage to the Dumbo attached to a tree, to the statue's that sit on my mantle throughout the winter. I have brought Disney into my children's lives because I want them to believe they can beat the odds, that with hard work dreams can come true. But yet every year the prices go up, the packages are for small families, and my dream of taking my children becomes further from my reach. I'm not looking for Disney hotels, or character dining, just 2 days at The Magic Kingdom with my kids and one day at Disney Hollywood Studios. This trip shouldn't be so far out of my reach, I should be able to bring my kids on this magical experience the same as I had as a child. I am so sadly disappointed once again this year to once again tell my kids, maybe next year. Next month I will pay the $500+ for fun cards to Busch Gardens and yes my children will have fun, but yet again they will miss all the magic Disney has to offer.
Please stop raising the price of tickets, please make this park available to more people. Some people like me, have big dreams of just bringing my children one time before they are grown. Thank you for your time, and thank you for all the joy Disney has brought to my life and my children's lives over the years. Hopefully somehow someway someday I'll be able to bring my children to see the magic in real life.

Sincerely
Malena
