I am executive membe. I am also visually impaired and would like to have your pharmacy at the Buford, GA 30519 location carry ScripTalk service.
This device enables anyone with print disabilities such as the blind/visually impaired or those with dyslexia who are pharmacy customers to be able to accurately know all the information that is in the pill bottles that your pharmacists have filled without the assistance of others to read it for them. The absence or errors of others is completely eliminated and customer independence is restored.
I spoke with a pharmacist, Rashida, please forgive the misspelling), at some length by phone today about providing this much needed service. I got nowhere except the suggestion of searching the internet to find locations where ScripTalk is available at Costco Pharmacies.
You must realize the challenge the print disabled person would face in having to call the three Costco locations in the state of their residence to find the possibility of whether pharmacy staff are even aware of this device, and if they have it, finding out that location is 75 miles away.
Is it possible to simply make it available where a print disabled member has made a request for it? I don't think that is too much to ask. In fact, that's exactly what Samsclub did for me. I simply prefer Costco at your Buford, GA location. It is in driving distance, and I wanted to move my prescriptions there because I prefer to shop at Costco. In addition to Samsclub, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, and Rite-Aid also offering ScripTalk within 10 miles of my home....along with Costco offering it in locations somewhere in the US. This particular pharmacist at the Buford, GA location is unaware of ScripTalk and isn't interested in providing it.
Please help me, and others who would benefit in the use of this service get ScripTalk up and running at this location and others where needed. Scriptalk can be reached
