Mathieu sent a message to Kelcy Warren – Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Energy Transfer Partners, L. P. Email Address that said:
Hello,
I hope this message finds you well.
My name is Mathieu. I am 18 and I live in Mauritius, a tiny island in the Indian Ocean you might have never heard of. My dream is to go to college as neither of my parents did. My dad being jobless, this is quite impossible, however. I play the violin and I love music. I want to audition for music schools in the USA. At the start of the year, I had already planned to audition by video recording. However, I read recently on the schools' sites that those who audition by video will not receive any form of financial aid.
I am writing to appeal to your generosity. All I would need is a ticket for my auditions. This is all I ask.
Thank you.
