I want to tell you of an experience I had last evening at a KFC Boone Iowa ( only one) . This is what I put out on Facebook today and am ready to put it on twitter and or any other social media website I can find, unless I get a valid response from someone other than a Customer service rep I had to spell my name to 3 times and tell my email address to 3 times in 5 mins. Who told me someone would get back to me. and no apology.
This is what I wrote and every bit of this is true.
Morning all, I decided today I would tell Boone and anyone else, what a hole of a restaurant KFC is in Boone.( Not that you already don't know) I went in there at approx.4:00 PM, last night,maybe a bit later. I ordered a bucket of chicken and 3 large sides and 6 biscuits. $30 worth of food. I get it home and #1 the Biscuits are hard and crumbly,( you can't even open them to butter then(with your OWN butter,because they didn't put any in the bag)) then the Chicken was not fresh at all..the BBQ beans sucked, I asked for Potatoes and gravy( large size) and I got a large potatoes and a small potatoes and gravy )(not enough gravy to scrape off the small potatoes for even 2 people )The only thing that was edible was the coleslaw. I threw three breasts out for the cats... so I call them ...( remembering I spent $30.) and the man says to me can you bring it back .. WHAT??? NO I am not driving back to Boone 9 miles) and no it shouldn't be that bad in 9 miles) so he says .. well I can give you 1 free meal for it.. FORGET THAT.. after this experience I will never eat there again! I don't know who owns the franchise.. but they should be in there and run it! Not the people who WERE in there. sorry but I felt the need to rant!
