Michael sent a message to Mark Fields – President and Chief Executive Officer of Ford Motor Company email address that said:

Hello, I've basically been told to kick rocks. Y customer service managers in my area and from the Ford site. They can't help me. I can't do anything about it they said. I recently purchased a brand new gt350 that has factory defects and blimishes. Most of which are being repaired now. Some denied. And some the dealer won't even recognize. Non of which where causes by me. Either factory negligence, delivery to the dealer, or for sitting on the lot. The absurdity in my opinion Iscthat two uniform dents on either side of the car with flawless paint over them that will cost Ford $0 but only an hour of labor will not be approved. That is absurd. I was recently chatting online with a customer service rep that told me when I asked what the next step was in resolving the issue that "I cant talk to anyone further, sorry. It's done." I asked if this was Fords customer satisfaction standard. "Sorry" this tells me instead of resolving an issue on a $60k car, Ford would rather lose a customer. Not to mention the word of mouth to all of my fellow active duty military network. Specifically about the dealership that has been of no help. But also Ford who says "sorry, can't help you" when it's their turn to do anything other than sell a car. This isn't why I buy Ford. I buy Ford cause the business is strong, the quality has been best over other domestic makers. Until this mustang. It came from the factory in used condition. Did I mention an employee driving a lot vehicle wrecking into my Shelby as my wife backed out of a parking spot and immediately blamed her?! McLaughlin Ford damaged my rear bumper and broke my driver side tail light. She was more than half way out of her spot in a bright red Shelby and got hit by an employee who would have been able to stop and avoid contact had he been going a reasonable speed or paying attention at all! But I digress. I'm voicing this to anyone that will read this to say that if I were you I would be disgusted in the product that has been put out. Read forums on exterior body and paint issues. It's terrible that consumers spend a lot of money on a Shelby that a $18k Kia has better quality paint and worksmamship. I'm going to pick up my car hopefully today if this dealer will ever pick up the phone. Usually takes about 20 calls to get someone to finally pick up. Have a good day.
