Hello Mark,
I recently turned in my Ford Lease about a month ago and last Friday I was looking into refinancing my house and when my credit was pulled, instead of showing my lease was turned in Ford reported me as deceased. This then triggered my credit report to be completely shut down since the other bureaus saw that Ford reported me dead. I have been on numerous calls and no one at Ford seems to know how to fix it. I even spoke to a supervisor today who said there is no way them reporting that could effect my credit report. I have been looking at credit reports for 14 years. I need someone to contact me ASAP to get this resolved. I don't have the time to sit on the phone with Ford with no solutions. I can be calledor email. I am so surprised with a big company like this, that customer service is not #1 with this issue. It has been a huge headache and I can't refinance my house or go and buy anything on credit because I am "dead".
