Hello Mr. Auld. I would first like to say that I love your company and the quality product you deliver across the country. I also admire the strong foundation and the consistent growth of your company.

Today, I am writing to make you aware of an unprofessional experience I had during a recent real estate transaction with DR Horton on 1/31/18. I was the Selling real estate agent within this transaction. As of this email, I was the procuring cause of a sell and I have not received a commission due to the lack of integrity and simple attention to detail by an onsite DR Horton agent.

I was not made aware of the issue until closing due to the goal of achieving a quick close. When I received the HUD at closing, the problem was unable to be solved and has not been at this point.

I contacted the onsite agent, DR Horton management, the broker on the HUD, the attorney, as well as DR Hortons real estate broker in Georgia. Not one single person on the DR Horton staff has responded to my complaint yet.

The agent in this transaction, Latrice Mitchell has been a nightmare to work with. She has done everything wrong since the beginning of the contract and her customer service is everything short of good enough. She was chronically tardy for her appointment to show my client the model home and continued to lack thoroughness throughout the transaction. All of which led to a disastrous experience for me and my client.

As I fight to gain timely correspondence from your staff here in Georgia during this matter, I would like to make it clear that there is a major concern for the lack of responsiveness to serious matters and a major need for recruitment of real estate agents with better customer service and a natural desire for attention to details.

I am truly disappointed in my experience and deeply apologetic to my client for the less than mediocre experience she had during the first and most important purchase of her life.

I hope you do not take my email as an attack, but merely a complaint and plea for change that will lead to a much better experience in the future.

I have been a real estate agent for 14 years and this transaction has been the worst I have ever experienced in new home sales.
