Gina sent a message to Brian C. Cornell Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, Target Corporation that said:

Hello Mr. Cornell: First, congratulations on your new assignment as Chairman of the Board and CEO of Target Corporation.

Background: I want to make you aware of a very bad experience with target.com that I am experiencing with the delivery of a treadmill item. I am a very frequent Target customer (as you can see by my expenses), and have never experienced any problem before with the exception of this extremely poor customer service that I am getting for the "white glove delivery" which I am paying $125 extra for and not being able to pinpoint a time and date for this delivery for the past two weeks. The sub-contractor, EFT has been asked to deliver between 7-8pm on M-F to accommodate my being home for the delivery as I work in D.C. and it takes over 1 hour for me to get home. The "white glove" person (named Samuel Ban) said he will come on Monday, June 8, 2015 for the delivery. Then, he called in sick. The delivery was then changed to today at 7pm. Now, EFT called and said he had "personal problems" and could not come until tomorrow at 7pm. I too, have personal matter to attend to as my Mother is in Rehab right now having fractured her back at 88 years old. I still have to go to work. I cannot understand why the customer is so inconvenienced here? I am willing to pay the extra "white glove service fee" of $125 (which, I believe at this point, should be waived). I keep getting calls from the sub-contractor wanting to reschedule during the day (I am at work!!!).

What is happening? Why am I even dealing with a sub-contractor from Target? Target has long been my "go to" company with so many wonderful experiences. This particular experience has left me totally distraught. I wanted to cancel the order twice; however, Target escalation has asked me to wait and see if they can assist. I wanted you to be aware of the sub-contractor customer service issues that I am experiencing. Any assistance you can provide to help me is greatly appreciated.

Respectfully,

Gina
