Gary McGill sent a message to William S. Demchak Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of The PNC Financial Services Group Email Address that said:
Hello Mr. Demchak,
My PNC home loan (#1000320138) was paid in full on August 28, 2017. I joined the Peace Corps and left the country at the same time - am now living overseas with very limited email / phone access. In the madness of preparing for Peace Corps service, selling the condo and moving, I failed to cancel the automatic monthly payments to PNC through my credit union. This resulted in two extra payments being sent to PNC after the loan was paid off (I have screen shots of the payments to share). My mortgage broker reached out to PNC to try and remedy the situation but had no luck. I have tried to access my PNC account online to send a message, but the account appears to have been shut down. My phone service does not currently allow for overseas calls although Im hoping to get that changed so I can call customer service. I have someone back home in Seattle managing my financial affairs (Stephanie Nelson) who has authority to speak on my behalf. However, when she contacted PNC customer service she was told they could not share any information with her or take any action to remedy the situation based on her word. I would very much like to get a refund of these two ‘accidental payments as soon as possible (Peace Corps wages are low!) as the $3,374.26 currently missing from my Salal Credit Union account is needed. My email is garym06@msn.com (my email of record on my PNC account). I hope we can figure out a way to resolve this situation soon.
Thank you,
Gary Vernon McGill
