Hello Mr. Ellison,
I have been a JCP credit and reward card holder for many years. I recently realized that I have missed out on numerous rewards offers, due to a lack of notification. I have made contact via the Macon, Ga store to correct and combine the two accounts so that I would receive proper notification. The associates informed me to contact the customer service number because they could not correct the issue in the store. The associate stated that the rewards account appears to have not been set up correctly in the beginning and the system does not allow them to correct the issue. I have called the customer service number two time and spoken with representatives. who supposedly took care of the issue. Obviously this was not done. After placing a recent order, I received an email welcoming me to the rewards account. I thought I'd try to set this up myself, but when I click on, set up profile, I received a message of server error and to contact customer service. I tried contacting customer service, yet again and after holding for approximately 15 minutes, I refused to hold any longer for someone to answer and give me the run-around again and still not receive the rewards I deserve. My understanding is, because this account was originally not set up correctly, they are unable to update the telephone number to the number that it needs to be. I know this is a very busy time if the year, however I started trying to have this corrected before this busy season came upon us. It is inexcusable, that someone in your technology dept cannot or will not address this issue and resolve it. I purchased and returned some kids items recently because I knew I would not get the rewards I deserved and purchased the kids items at another store where I knew I would get my rewards in hand, at the time of purchase, for later use. The only reason I placed this last order with JCP is because I really like this particular brand of casual/athletic wear that I can only find in JCP. Please help me resolve this issue so that I can receive and be notified of the rewards I have earned by shopping with JCP.
