Hello Mr. Fields. I'm 53 years old, my first new car was a Ford. I have bought numerous personal cars as well as work trucks from Ford for the past 35 years. Right now I'm trying to buy a new Focus RS. I spend half of my time in Ma. and half of my time in Fl. I have talked to every dealer in both states. Trying to find a dealer with an allocation for one of these cars is hard enough, but every dealer I have talked to is adding anywhere from 2500.00 to 10,000.00 on top of the MSRP.
I have to say I find it ridiculous that a devout Ford enthusiast like myself cannot walk into a Ford dealer and buy this car without being taken advantage on the pricing of this car. It's amazing to me that I sit here ready willing and able to purchase this car but I cannot find anyone willing to sell it to me at the MSRP price. I would think it would bother Ford that it's dealers are gouging their customers. Obviously these dealers don't seem to be too worried about repeat business?
Anyway as I said I'm looking to buy one. Either in Fl. or Ma. if you happen to know of any dealer that would be willing to sell me one without tacking on thousands.
Thank you,
Frank
