Hello Mr.Henslee:

My name is John and, I have been a customer of O'Reillys Auto Parts for quite a long time. I enjoy doing my own vehicle maintenance and usually buy my parts from O'Reillys unless they are not in stock then I will go to the competition.
Today, I had a very unpleasant experience at the store at 3131 Carleton Rd. In Hillsdale Mi. I needed a Brake Caliper for my 04 F250. When I entered the store the 2 sales persons were busy with a customer at the counter and on the phone, I waited. When It was my turn, Dan the Asst. Manager helped me. I gave him the info. Year, Model, Engine, Part I needed. He then brought it up on the computor and then the phone rang. The other person behind the counter was now finished helping his customer and made small talk while Dan "The Asst. Manager" dropped my info and took care of his phone customer. When he finally finished he hung up then said to me " that's a 97 right?" I said no a 04 he than began to ask model etc etc. While he was looking it up again, I felt pretty disrespected and I said, low wow..I then looked at him. He had stoppedwhat he was doing and was staring at me like a crazy man. glaring in my eyes, I thought he was going to attack me! At that point I picked up my Core part and said" See ya" and I went to the Auto Zone down the street. Where by the way I ran into the customer that was at the O'Reillys before me. He said The guy acted like he was being bothered by the customer asking if he had his part.
I know everyone is entitled to a bad day but Im als entitled to buy my parts wherever I choose and, this kind of service will not bring me in OReillys. Im not sure that a busy man like yourself will actually read this but as a person that deals with the public everyday in a service job (automotive), I felt I should say something.

Thank you for your time.

Best Regards.

John
