Julian sent a message to Kazuo Hirai President and CEO, Sony Corporation that said:
Hello Mr. Hirai,
my name is Julian and I am from Chicago. I am a huge fan of Sony products and use them daily. In this email, I would like to give you 10 ideas on how to expand the Sony brand.
If you like an idea, I would love to work with you guys at Sony to bring it to fruition.
1.)Sony Cafes: Cafes that are heavy on technology and science to create a very futuristic eating experience.
2.)Sony Movie Theaters: Theaters that features many of the most advanced technology in the world. The movies would be highly immersive, featuring a 4d experience(temperture,smells,movement etc)
3.)Sony underground Stadium: This Stadium would be very similar to what you guys did with the 49ers but underground.
4.)Sony Theme Park- A place where people can go to be exposed to the newest and craziest advancements in technology. You could have virtual reality rides, technology heavy restaurants/ floors that move by themselves(something like what some airports have, perhaps?)/and Sony Gatherings(where different technologies/ideas are shared; think tedx talks meet Sony).
5.)Sony T.V- A Television network that focuses on the newest technology coming out of Sony or just around the world. The shows could be comedic, but the overall focus would be on tech. The network could also have some comedy shows that are taken place in the future. Also, dramas about future technology would be be a good idea too(imagine a show about a life where pretty much everything is automated, or a show about where humans are freely exploring the cosmos, or maybe even a show about world war 3).
6.)Sony Houses- Partner with a channel like HGTV and make a show about the journeys of people buying "Sony Houses". This houses are like the house of Bill Gates but with a hyped up WOW-factor. These houses are huge, and heavy on technology. You guys could team with with hgtv to build those house, or even the guys from FYIs Tiny House Nation(they have blown me away with their clever/innovated ways to make houses).
7.)Sony Advertisement- A way for the average person to market Sony, and at the same time bring in a little bit of cash for themselves. People would put up google advertising on their cars/houses/workplace and in return, Sony would pay a little money. These advertising would market any new products your trying to sell/get noticed.
8.)SOny Vacations: This plan would include a little island and a cruise ship. People signing in for the program would first get on this cruise ship that offers the best in technology. Virtual reality rooms/ restaurants with those tablet tables/ restaurants that hire and showcase the best in food science/ robots that take people their food/ jet packs/ 3d light shows/events that showcase the hottest music and much, much more. The cruise then arrives to this Island, which is called "Sony Island". This island would be a step to the future. It would have futuristic houses/hotels/restaurants/recreational areas. Itll be a place of escapism/distraction, where people can take a glimpse of the future.
9.) Sony glasses(but with contacts): this would be the same thing as Sony glasses but with contacts. The benefit with this is that things would appear to be holographic to the user.
10.)Sony Ear: This technology would be a sort of earbud that you would put in your ear. Then, when used, you would be able to hear the song your playing as if its coming out of the earth. As in, you would still be able to ear all the sounds around you perfectly(like cars passing by, people talking etc.) but you would hear your song in the background. Itll be like a private concert that only you can hear.
