Minerve sent a message to Hubert Joly President and CEO, Best Buy – email address that said:
Hello Mr. Hubert Joly,
I know that many times you get complaints but I wanted to take this opportunity to praise a supervisor (Eric) that I had the pleasure of dealing with yesterday at the Best Buy in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Eric works in the mobile section and just wanted to say that he was extremely helpful in helping us choose an iphone, transferring the information from the old phone, and installing the screen protector on the phone. My brother resides in Trinidad and he was pleasantly surprise by the stellar customer service that we/he received from Eric considering the week prior my brother and I responded to that same store location where we bought another iphone and had the unpleasant experience of dealing with another mobile associate who was not helpful, not pleasant, and not accommodating. I did mention this to Eric and he apologized for that employee's behavior. Once again, customer service seems to be a dying art in America so both my brother and I were pleased to see that some people still take this "art" to heart. I sincerely hope that Eric will get some type of recognition for a job well done.
Thank you,
Minerve
