Hello Mr. Joly,
My name is Georgeanna and I am a Best Buy cardholder. On Saturday, 10/22, I purchased a Zagg HD glass screen protector for my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 phone which I paid cash for also from Best Buy. The Customer Service, Representative, Raynard, told me there was only one left in the store since my phone was considered old. He also charged me $8 to place the screen protector on the phone even though I told him I had not been charged before. He never stated if he placed it on the phone and there was a problem afterwards that I would not be able to return the item, especially within a one week time frame (I would clearly understand if I had the screen protector longer and then came in the store for a refund). I went to the store today, 10/28, to ask for a refund credit to my account and I was told by the Sales Supervisor, Chris Garrett, that I had to contact Zagg for a replacement screen protector. I explained to him that I do not want to contact them because the quality has proven to be poor and I didn't want to do business with Zagg, but he still declined my refund. However, I called Zagg and was told that Best Buy would have to issue me my refund because I purchased it there, something about them being a third party or maybe he was saying Best Buy is the third party (I'm not sure). All I am asking for is fairness and my account refunded especially since I'm supposedly an "elite customer" as stated on my receipt and I have purchased quite a few products from Best Buy. I also must add Mr. Joly that no where on the receipt does it state that I can't return a screen protector (it states 15 day return on items with a receipt). The screen protector has started to lift and crack after a week, and as I stated earlier, I paid the Customer Representative to place it on. I tried calling customer service, and was told by several representatives that they couldn't help me. I would greatly appreciate your help with this matter. The store I purchased from is in Downers Grove, Illinois.. Thank you.
