Hello Mr. Menear,
I am writing to you on behalf of my daughter who had her house flood at the end of September due to Harvey. She rebuilt our kitchen with the help of one of your design consultants located at the Home Depot store on Research Forest in The Woodlands, TX...store #6516.
We thought working with Home Depot would alleviate the headaches of having to sub out all the work to various contractors. She had cabinets built and refaced to match her upper cabinets, new granite countertops installed and all new appliance purchased through Home Depot.
We are still waiting for a few appliances, to be delivered this week. Other than the repairs needed to the cabinets and granite the major issue is the plumbing has yet to be connected in the kitchen, including garbage disposal and dishwasher. The design consultant told us this would be done when we met with him but for some reason no one is willing to look into this for us and resolve.
All kitchen appliances were installed on Nov 11th and granite counters installed on Nov 14th.
Our daughter is almost 7 months pregnant with twins and would really like to get back into her house before the babies are born. She paid a lot for this kitchen, not something she could really afford with FEMEA $s and no flood insurance, It will be beautiful when / if it is finally complete.
We actually believe she was oversold on the replacement products, didnt need to buy the high end granite but this is all that was shown to us when we met with the consultant. This is a mute point now as it is done.
