Hello Mr President.. I am an employee at JCPENNEYS and recently got promoted from my sales support shift to a Merchandise Associate. I am contacting you on behalf of this new position and giving you my honest feedback about it, hoping you would hear me out. I have been with the company for a couple years.. And I love the company , yet ever since weve been hit badly since the last ceo I had realized that this new position just seems like it was just made as a filler to work as a cashier and fittiing room associate...I get that its because we have a low budget on hours now, but shouldnt the position "Merchandising Associate" consists of keeping our department clean and organized? And pricing/sighning our own stuff and making room on the floor so we can get our backstock out?... Why dont you get rid of the "pricing and signing team" and let merchandise associates do their own signing.. In my honest opinion...shouldnt keeping the store clean and presentable all the time, make it alot easier for the customers to shop our merchandise and floor associates to put go backs away alot easier and faster. I feel that this will make the process a lot easier because from what I have seen.. Also, every time spws have to be done , most of the time they are never given much time to do it since theres no way to make room for a huge load of stuff while the store is open and theirs customers shopping. Then you have the support team upset because a spw is flagged to a full 4 way and they dont have time to make room for it themselves because if they move merchandise around they end up screwing up the whole pricing process and sighns..
Being a jcp associate for years, im afraid to say that I will have to depart from the company if the process stays broken like this,yet thats the last thing I want.
