Hello Mr Renwick. I serve on the Auto Advisory board for ACIT which is a vocational school in Atlantic County NJ. Most of the vocational schools around here have closed their autobody courses. I will soon be 54 years old and I'm an average age of all body men and painters in the shops currently. This school was going to get rid of their spray booth and put an Engineering class in there. Luckily that hasn't happened yet but autobody shut down 2 years ago. I'm sure you realize it will take almost 10 years for a young guy to be a fully skilled bodyman. In 10 years most of us will be getting out which means this needs to be addressed immediately. I need respected people like yourself to convince the school to reopen this program. My son and I went there recently and taught the kids how to skin a pair of 69 chevelle doors. They all loved it and half of them told me they would rather take autobody if it were offered. I'm not a big enough convincing voice...I need help. Please call me when you get a minute and I can get you in touch with the proper people at the school. I rebuild muscle cars. You can check my facebook page Truman Muscle Car Parts. Thank you in advance...John
