Maureen sent a message to J. Paul Raines Chief Executive Officer of GameStop Corporation Email Address that said:
Hello, my name is Maureen. I was recently informed of fraudulent activity on my Visa card. One of the many transactions was at GAME STOP #1044 in New York, NY. It was an IN STORE purchase of $101.71. Interestingly, I live in Michigan and also have the actually card. This can only mean one thing, someone allowed an in store purchase without the actual card! (That seems insane to me) I have called the store, left messages with employees to have a member of management contact me regarding this matter and have heard nothing. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE DISREGARD TO THIS PROBLEM. I am far from perfect, but I am HONEST! If it were MY store, I would want to know if an employee was 1. Allowing in store purchases without an actual card being presented or 2. If my employee was a dishonest thief. From what I have discovered thus far, it is one of the two, quite possibly both. I just would really like to get some kind of response! Being an in store purchase, along with all of the details I have, there is no reason action shouldnt be taken to resolve this.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Maureen
