Hello, my name is Naidia Santos I'm a portuguese actress and a starter filmmaker. I have a short film script that has been chosen to go into production by the portuguese foundation GDA (Gestão Direitos Artistas). My funding is minimal, but my story is worth being told! This story is set on an Ikea store. Now, I do not plan to use the settings/decors of the Ikea store to pretend being on a real bedroom or in a real kitchen. The story is about a young couple that has suffered a major lost and they are spending a whole day in an Ikea store, shopping, eating, etc. I would love your permission to shoot at Ikea (Lisbon, Alfragide) during the night so we won't bother Ikea costumers, we will gladly pay for the extra hours of a security staff member, to guarantee the safety of your store. My team is very small: 2 actors, 1 director of photography/ camera man, 1 sound technician , 1 producer/assistant⦠I have every intention of making a touching and subtle portrait of a family trying to piece their self together. It's about love and overcoming grief. Ikea is the ideal portrait of FAMILY. There is also a stuffed animal (probably VANDRING RÃV or HOPPIG) that is center of our story. I do appreciate your time to consider my request. It would mean a lot for me and for my team if I could have the chance to further explain the project, ours goals and come up with a way to contribute for your own foundation (with a video perhaps).
