On July 20th, I spoke with NACA and confirmed that we would be closing on Friday, July 24th as planned. Despite being told we were all set to close, we found out in the following days that my tax transcript was not processed by citibank because the fax came out fuzzy and unreadable. I contacted the IRS, got my tax transcripts, and sent them to citibank. I spoke with Ian and he said there would be no issue using these transcripts.
I would like to speak to someone at Citibank who can tell me the status of our mortgage. NACA has been unresponsive to phone calls and emails, they tell me that it is in Citibanks hands. At the same time, Citibank says that they cannot access my account without knowing who my Citibank underwriter is, but NACA will not provide that information.
