Hello Sir,
A Sustainable Strategy for Schwarzman Scholars
My name is Olufemi, am 26 years of age,i have my B.Eng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and have just completed my MBA at the Lagos Business School, Nigeria. I applied for the 2017/2018 session of Schwarzman Scholar, but i didn't get an invite. However, as a young leader always looking forward to add value to any system designed to create better lives for humanity, i already designed a sustainable strategy which i was going to propose if admitted into the School.
My Strategy is, If we have a total of 125 young Global leaders on the program who are interested in business, Government, NGOs, institution etc. I believe we can inculcate an INVESTOR and NATIONAL FORUM into the school calendar, where students can make business pitch on their start-ups to potential investors(venture capitalist) and after break-even of a percentage of the EBIT(Earnings before Interest and Tax) can be appropriated to the growth and development of the program. Also, well-articulated solutions to National pressing issues across globe should be presented to various nations of the earth. i.e a team of 7 can work and present well thought of ideas to resolve the Syria Crisis, Populism, Climate Change, Corruption e.t.c. Such an idea will be received by any Nation and this will add to the brand equity of the School and also open the doors of Nations towards the Schwarzman Program. Thus, receiving any kind of support from government of various Nations. Supports could be inform of Finances, Job Opportunity for Scholars, Scholars Official Visiting etc.
I want to agree this strategy will help the going concern of Schwarzman Scholars.Hope to hear from you soon.
Regards,
Olufemi
