Hello Sir,
My family and I are in a world of poop. I have Stage IV esophageal cancer and have been fighting very hard to stay alive. Right now I have necrotizing pneumonia and just left the hospital yesterday after a two week stay. I owe your company over 1600.00 and tried to pay it. A charity mailed me what appeared to be a 5,000.00 check, I deposited it and it seemed to clear. Then one week later this "charity" sent me a letter stating that I needed to send 3,000 of it to them Western Union. At that point i said uh oh. Then all the payments I had made bounced. DTE will not take anything but cash or credit cards now. My church had a fundraiser and made enough to pay my entire bill. They mailed a cashiers check to DTE 8 days ago. The church received the check back on Saturday, stating that checks would not be accepted on this account. Since it was a cashier check, my Pastor assumed it was as good as cash. Now they will turn off my gas today and we have me who without heat, I could literally die. And we have a baby in the house. My attorney is Sam Bernstein and ten days ago, I signed a settlement agreement that will net me more money than Ive ever seen. I will make everything right with you sir, but customer service will not help. Please help. I only need a few days to figure this out.
