Hello,
Two months ago I stopped by the Harney St. plant to speak to someone about emissions potentially affecting the water, air and soil. I was told the person I needed to speak to was in a mtg and they would call me back. Nothing. I then called Corporate and left a msg I believe with the communications director. A month and a half and no reply. Last week I left a msg with reception urgently requesting someone get back to me. Nothing. I have tried to remain neutral despite the frightening press coverage. Please tell me it is not corporate policy to be cavalier about community concerns as it certainly appeared to be in the neighborhood mtg and low-on-science mailing I received. PC has not proven itself to be much of a community partner/presence in the 10 years I have lived here, nor during what is a critical pr season for the company. Is it your intention to let Oregon DEQ do all the communication on this issue? Does is it trouble you that your company, even excluding its environmental record, is renowned locally for being such a non-presence at community events. I would love to see your company attempt to reverse this negative momentum and prove itself willing to be an enthusiastic community partner. Please get back to me. Scott
