Hello,
Im not sure if this will be read but with the lack of service provided to me so far I find it worth a chance due to the dire situation Im in from overdraft fees levied against my checking account.
At some point in early November my account became overdrawn. I accept full responsibility for this. However, after my account balance fell into the negative, 53 Bank continued to approve transactions - most of them being everyday purchases such as gas, grocery, etc. This has resulted in nearly $1,000 in overdraft/Hold fees over the last few weeks which has devastated my familys ability to make ends meet.
When calling and asking why these transactions continue to be approved I was told the bank will continue to approve them at the banks discretion. I was beyond horrified. Thats the bank looking out for the bank not the customer.
With that said, if I receive service like I have up to this point I expect this message to go overlooked or simply deleted. But, with my situation where it is I have no choice but to try everything I can to see that 53 Bank makes this right.
