Kathleen sent a message to Todd J. Vasos – Chief Executive Officer of Dollar General Corporation – Email Address that said:
here is a Dollar General in Springdale, that is horrendous!!! I went to walk in the store and 3 carts were blocking the door. Then I tried to enter an aisle and one of the employees started walking toward me with a dolly and backed me into the soda he was stocking the shelves with. I almost fell over and did hurt my back when I fell backwards into the pallet of soda, (which by the way was in the front of the aisle by the entrance also.) All the aisles and the end of the aisles are blocked by boxes of goods that needed to be put on the shelves. This is not an isolated incident or a rare occurrence because that store is always in that same condition. There is a high rise next door which disabled and elderly people live, and they count on that store. There are no other grocery stores in that area and they depend on getting their groceries there. I am not disabled and I have a terrible time maneuvering myself in that store because of the clutter and filth. Someone is going to get hurt and sue Dollar General and I am thinking of consulting with my attorney regarding my back injury as a result of one of your employees. If you have any questions regarding what happened, please refer to the overhead store cameras. My attorney will be contacting you soon. It's a shame because there are other dollar general stores in the area zip codes and they are kept very neat and orderly. Kathleen
